To transfer a Kent Reliance ISA to another provider, without losing its tax status, you will need to follow the procedure set down by the other provider. Your new ISA provider will then pass the information on to us so that we can begin the transfer of your ISA.

Please note: If you have a passbook ISA, we need to receive your passbook before we will be able to begin the transfer process.

Once we have received your transfer instructions from your new provider, we may contact you by telephone or in writing to confirm your request to transfer. We may also take the opportunity to tell you about our current range of ISA products.

Important: We will complete the transfer within five working days from the date a valid transfer request is received from the new ISA provider or the date the funds become free to transfer, if later, and all other requirements to initiate a transfer are met. The information we need includes:

  • transfer request from your new ISA provider
  • return of your passbook (if applicable)
  • any other information we may need to complete the transfer.

We will make every effort to carry out the transfer promptly. However, we cannot take responsibility for delays in processing the transfer if they are caused by your new provider or if you have not provided the necessary information.
